It’s not just the thousands of holidaymakers who are feeling the effects of Heathrow’s Terminal 5 Nightmare. Supermodel Kate Moss is expected to receive compensation of nearly £10,000 after her luggage went missing on a flight from Heathrow to Los Angeles last week.
Miss Moss was on her way to a photo shoot in LA to promote her new autumn Topshop range when her bags went missing, along with over 28,000 other BA passengers’ luggage since the Terminal opened in March. 
As anyone would expect, Kate was said to be distraught after hearing the news that her Louis Vuitton bags, worth over £3000 had been lost.
When alerted of the situation British Airways chief executive ordered the upfront compensation payment to the multimillionaire supermodel, and also put two of his most senior staff on the case of finding the lost luggage. Kate has now been reunited with all her bags and is due to return to Heathrow today. Lets just hope the return journey proves smoother for her.
